Victoria Principal was born on January 3, 1950 in Fukuoka, Japan to parents Victor Principal and Ree Veal. Her father was serving in the US Air Force and was based in Japan where she was born. Their family moved a lot while Victoria was young so that she ended growing up in London, Puerto Rico, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts and many other places. Because of this, she and her sister attended 17 different high-schools. Even then, Victoria Principal managed to appear in a commercial at the age of five and model during high school.

The sexy young model enrolled in Miami-Dade Community College where she studied to become a chiropractor. However, after her life changing accident that rendered her seriously injured, she made a pivotal decision to pursue only the things she love to do. She stopped college and moved to New York to pursue her beloved acting and modeling career. Victoria Principal also studied at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. After London, she moved to Hollywood in 1971 to realize her dream to make it big in the world of films. True enough, she bagged a role in The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean in 1972 wherein she played the role of a hot Mexican mistress opposite Paul Newman.

However, that was about it for her in four years when it comes to making Hollywood films. Disappointed, she quit acting and worked as an agent instead. Victoria Principal also contemplated going to law school before she met Aaron Spelling who offered her a bargain just get her on board the pilot of the sexy film Fantasy Island in 1978. After Fantasy Island, she was cast to play the role of Pamela Ewing in the long-running soap called Dallas in 1978. After Dallas, Miss Principal put up her own production company, the Victoria Principal Productions.

Other achievements of this hot actress were her line of skin care products, and she had written three books for women about skin-care. Victoria Principal also worked with arthritis victims' foundation and got awarded for her work by no less than President Ronald Reagan. She dated Andy Gibb, Frank Sinatra, and Desi Arnaz Jr. before finally marrying her plastic surgeon husband Harry A. Glassman, M.D. who she divorced after 21 years. In the 1970's Miss Principal proved her fierce pauses when she posed nude for Playboy Magazine.
