Tiffani Amber-Thiessen was born in California on January 24, 1974. Her father was a park designer, while her mother was a homemaker. She went to the Valley Professional High School in Studio City, California, and even graduated valedictorian in 1992. It was her uncle, Roger Ernest, who encouraged Tiffani Amber-Thiessen to enter the show business industry. He has appeared in films as well including The Sugarland Express and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Tiffani Amber-Thiessen appeared in commercials when she was younger, so she is no stranger to television. Her commercial and modeling credits include Peaches and Cream Barbie. She also joined beauty contests and also won the Miss Junior America Pageant in 1987. Tiffani Amber-Thiessen got her big break when she was cast as Kelly Kapowski, the popular cheerleader, on the television series, Saved by the Bell. She also joined Saved by the Bell: The College Years.

Although those were short lived, there was no stopping Tiffani Amber-Thiessen. Not so long after the show’s cancellations and she was cast in another television series, Beverly Hills 90210, as Valerie Malone. Her character was different from her first role as Kelly, because this required her to bring out a more bitchy side, and she proved that she can handle any acting challenge handed to her by doing this perfectly. Although she played the enemy of Jennie Garth’s character on the show, the two are actually best friends in real life. Tiffani Amber-Thiessen also met her boyfriend of several years, Brian Austin Green, while on the show.

Tiffani Amber-Thiessen has also appeared in other television shows, including Two Guys and A Girl, Fastlane, and Just Shoot Me!. While she was starring in Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, she met her new boyfriend, Richard Ruccolo, whom she was engaged to from 2001 to 2003. Tiffani Amber-Thiessen also starred in two independent films and even one with Woody Allen, called Hollywood Ending. Some of the films Tiffani-Amber Thiessen appeared in, did not fare so well at the box office, including Love Stinks. Her other movies include Son in Law in 1993, Speedway Junkie in 1999, Ivan’s XTC, and The Ladies Man in 2000.

Tiffani Amber-Thiessen’s television work includes Charles in Charge, Married with Children, Valerie, Step by Step, Blossom, The Powers That Be, Burke’s Law, and Good Morning Miami. Her most recent one was What About Brian, but this only lasted for a few months in 2007. She has also appeared in the music video for Vertical Horizon’s single, You’re a God. Tiffani Amber-Thiessen has been married to Brady Smith since 2005.

Tiffani Amber-Thiessen is also a volunteer for Make A Wish Foundation. She has been ranked number 95 of Stuff Magazine’s 102 Sexiest Women in the World.
