Tammin Sursok was born on August 19, 1983 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Along with her mother Julie, they immigrated to Australia when she was only four years old. She has a brother named Shaun and a half sister, Michelle. She was involved with the Sydney Youth Musical Theatre where she pursued her love for acting, dance and music. She went to the Trinity Speech and Drama College where she finished with a High Distinction. She studied at Ravenswood School for Girls where she participated in all the school productions including A Midsummer’s Nights Dream, South Pacific and the Sound of Music.

This hot actress had her first break when she got the role of Dani Sutherland in the Australian series Home and Away. In 2001, Tammin Sursok won the Logie award for Best New Female Talent category. Logie is the Australian equivalent of Hollywood’s Emmys.

In 2002 Tammin Sursok was selected as Junior Youth Ambassador for New South Wales. Then she was awarded the Australian Centenary Medal for her Service to Australian Society and Acting.

The sexy Tammin Sursok also started her music career. Her debut album, "Whatever Will Be" earned a platinum award after selling 70,000+ copies.

Tammin Sursok’s Hollywood break came in 2006 when she starred in the film Aquamarine (2006) with Jojo and Emma Roberts. She moved into a Beverly Hills Apartment to pursue her Hollywood career. Tammin Sursok plays the lead role in the independent film Albino Farm (2006). She has a small part in the film Rules of Engagement (2007) starring Dennis Spade. She has also taken over the role of Colleen Carlton in The Young and the Restless. She also just completed filming a supporting role in the movie Crossing Over (2007) starring Harrison Ford, Sean Penn, Ashley Judd and Ray Liotta.

Tammin Sursok is among the list of hot and sexy personalities when she placed first among the Australian entries in FHM’s Hottest Women of 2006.

Tammin Sursok is currently busy writing songs for her next album. She has recently recorded the track Karma. She wrote the song together with Michael Strangel and David Nicholas.
