Susan Ward Biography
Susan Ward originally started out modeling when she was thirteen years old, until she moved to New York. She studied psychology at the Northeast Louisiana University, but dropped out to focus on acting. Susan Ward landed some small roles for television shows such as All My Children, as well as a part on Malibu Shores in 1996, but her big break came when she was cast for Sunset Beach as Meg Cummings in 1997. She shared a nomination with costar Clive Roberston in the 1999 Soap Opera Digest in the category of Favorite Couple for their performance in Sunset Beach.
In 1999, Susan Ward decided to make a total makeover both for her Holywood image, from a "good girl" image to a wild child, and her physical image as she underwent breast augmentation and several cosmetic surgeries.
Susan Wards television work includes appearances on Xena: Warrior Princess, Men, Women, and Dogs, and The X Show. She then made her debut on the silver screen with Poison Ivy: The New Seduction, followed by The In Crowd where she starred as Britney. The latter film was an erotic thriller, and Susan Ward had nude scenes, although was not a big hit in the theaters. She was also a supporting actress in 2001s Shallow Hal, followed by Would I Lie to You? In 2002, Going Greek and Wild Things 2 in 2004, Cruel World, Two for the Money, and Just Friends in 2005.
Susan Ward also has guest appearances in television for Friends, Boomtown, CSI: Miami, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Just Legal, and Monk. She has been married to David Robertson since 2005. They met when she was cast in the movie, "The In Crowd", which was produced by Morgan Creek Productions wherein Robertson is the vice president.
Susan Ward loves animals and has three cats, named Sawyer, Buffy, and Velvet.
