Born on August 6, 1976, in Glendora, California, Soleil Moon Frye is often called Punky because of the role that gave her the big break in Hollywood. Her mother named her after the song I Got the Sun in the Morning from the musical Annie Get Your Gun. Soleil means sun in French. She started acting when she was only two years of age when she saw her father, Virgil Frye and brother, Meeno Peluce on television. At the early age of eight, she starred in her own show called Punky Brewster that made her a household name. She also played Fred Savage’s crush in the Wonder Years.

Soleil Moon Frye graduated from a private school in San Fernando Valley then went on to New School University on New York for a year.

From Punky Brewster, Soleil Moon Frye grew to be one hot and sexy woman. At the age of 16, she had to have a breast reduction surgery due to the fact that her breasts were large for her age and frame. It was done to reduce the back pains she is experiencing.

Punky surely has blossomed into a sexy lady.

Soleil Moon Frye starred in the television movie I’ve Been Waiting for You (1998). She plays a role of a witch hunter. Then roles turn when she landed a role in the television show Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, where she plays the bestfriend of Sabrina. Soleil Moon Frye once guested in the televison show Friends as Joey’s girlfriend. She is currently the voice of Jade in the Disney animated series Bratz.

The once cute kid is now a lady. Soleil Moon Frye has been link to various Hollywood hunks like Mark Walhberg, Edward Furlong and Brian Austin Green. But said to sad, she is already married to Hollywood film director Jason Goldberg. She has a daughter named Poet Sienna Rose aged two. And she is expecting her second child due in spring of 2008.

Soleil Moon Frye directed Wild Horses when she was only 22 years old. She also directed starred in the documentary Sonny Boy. It documented her fathers fight with Pick’s Disease.
