Born on February 1, 1965 in Detroit Michigan, Sheryl Ann Fenn who is also known as Shelly is the youngest of three kids. The three kids lived with their mom who is a musician. Because of this, they moved a lot around Michigan. She was only 17 years old when she went to Los Angeles with her mom. Two years later, she was already working in TV and film. Her career started in 1984. She was included in the cast of The Wild Life where she played the character Penny Harlin. She also appeared on TV in Silence of the Heart. Since then, the hot Sherilyn Fenn has been a busy actress with multiple projects lined up every year.

Her career in Hollywood peaked new heights when she was included in the cast of Twin Peaks in 1990. She played the role of Audrey Horne. Twin Peaks in a multi-awarded television serial drama created by David Lynch and Mark Frost. Its first broadcast was on April 8, 1990 on ABC but was only led to cancellation of its airtime due to the negative ratings that the show received on its second season. This TV series was set in the fictional town of Twin Peaks where a popular local student was found dead on a river bank. Because of her performance in Twin Peaks, Sherilyn Fenn got two nominations.

In 1990, she was first nominated in the Emmy in the category Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Twin Peaks. She was again nominated, this time in the Golden Globe, in the category Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV for Twin Peaks.

She has appeared in many Hollywood films like Diary of a Hitman (1991), Ruby (1992), Desire and Hell at Sunset Motel (1992), Three of Hearts (1993), Boxing Helena (1993), Fatal Instinct (1993), Just Write (1997), Lovelife (2007), The Shadow Men (1998), Outside Ozona (1998), Cement (1999), Swindle (2002), Dream Warrior (2004), Novel Romance (2006) and Treasure Raiders (2007), among others.
