The sexy and sultry Sarah Jayne Dunn is a British actress who started her career on 1997 when she starred in the long-time running British television soap opera Hollyoaks at the age of 14. Hollyoaks had its first broadcast on Channel 4 on October 23, 1995 produced by Lime Pictures. It has been said that Hollyoaks have been filmed mainly at studios in Liverpool. Hollyoaks is created by Phil Redmond who is also the man behind the creation of Brookside and Grange Hill.
Hollyoaks is set in and revolves around the fictional Chester suburb of Hollyoaks and is centered around a 1950s technical college. The characters on these series are generally in their late teens or early twenties. Sarah Jayne Dunn has played the role of Mandy Richardson for ten long years. She has even won nominations and awards for the said role. In the year 2002, Sarah Jayne Dunn won a British Soap Award. She shared the given Most Spectacular Scene Award with co-star David Brown for Adam and Mandy’s car crash. In 2006, this hot British actress was nominated in the British Soap Awards as Sexiest Female. The year after that, she was nominated again in the British Soap Awards only this time in a different category which was Best Exit.
In 2003, Sarah Jayne Dunn also appeared in Phil Redmond’s Brookside: Unfinished Business where she played the character of Kelly.
After her extensive performance in Hollyoaks, Sarah Jayne Dunn in 2007 appears in three different television series. She appeared on the first season of The Innocence Project where she played Tanya Jackson in the seventh episode as a supporting cast.
She has also been starring on the new BBC drama Doctors where she has been asked to play the character of Renee Dooley. Under Hat Trick North Productions, Drop Dead Gorgeous came out in 2006. Sarah Jayne Dunn appeared in this television series playing the role of Justine.
