Sara Paxton Biography
Even at an early age, Sara Paxton has always shown enthusiasm and love for acting. She would usually put on shows and perform, dressing up and coming to school as different characters.
In 1997, she had her first appearance in a film. This was in the comedy Liar Liar that starred Jim Carrey. She played the role of a young girl at a party. A year thereafter, movie projects kept coming in for her. She was asked to play Angie in the Sci-fi film Soldier which was directed by Paul Anderson. In the same year, she also appeared in Music from Another Room and Tunnel Vision.
She has appeared in a lot of television series in Hollywood like Working, Passions, Action, Geppetto, Lizzie McGuire, Mr. Ed, CSI: Miami, Malcolm in the Middle, SpongeBob SquarePants and Will & Grace, among others. In 2004, she appeared in a teen comedy film Sleepover where she played the role of Stacie. This movie showcased other Hollywood young actresses as they play characters of best friends who challenged the popular girls in their school in an all-night scavenger hunt to improve their social status.
In 2006, she played the role of Aquamarine in a movie of the same title. In the same year, she also continued to guest-star in TV series like Darcys Wild Life, Pepper Dennis, and Skater Boys. In 2007, she starred in The Party Never Stops: Diary of a Binge Drinker where she played the role of an 18-year old promising track star Jesse Tanner who struggles with binge drinking during her freshmen year of college. She also appeared in the movie Sydney White in 2007 playing Rachel Witchburn.
As a young actress, the hot and sexy Sara Paxton has won and been nominated in the Young Artist Award. In 2000, she won Best Performance in a TV Comedy Series Young Performer Age Ten or Under for Working. Three years later, in 2003 she won another award as having the Best Performance in a TV Drama Series Guest Starring Young Actress for her appearance in CSI.
She has a movie coming out in 2008 called Superhero!
