She started out early in show business. She was only 11 years of age when she first appeared on TV on one episode of the Cracker. Cracker is a television crime series in the United Kingdom created by Jimmy McGovern. It is under the production of Granada Television and is distributed through ITV.
In 1996, she appeared in the independent film Bob’s Weekend.
She appeared in a lot of television series after that. She was seen on episodes of Adam’s Family Tree (1997), Heartbeat (1997), Life Force (2000) and Doctors (2000), among others. She starred in the 2000 film There’s Only One Jimmy Grimble where she played the role of Sara. She was also seen in an episode of TV Burp.
Her career ventured new heights in 2000 when she got the role of Maria Sutherland topping Suzanne Shaw and Kimberley Walsh for the series Coronation Street. Coronation Street was created by Tony Warren and is developed by Granada Television/ITV Productions. This award-winning British soap opera is actually the longest-running television soap opera in the United Kingdom. It was December 9, 1960 when this soap opera made its first broadcast on ITV. Even though it has been around for decades, it never failed to be the highest-rated program on British television. Coronation Street is set on a fictional suburb of Manchester. It is about the experiences of the people of different ages and status residing Coronation Street. In 2007, this sexy and talented hot actress was nominated in the British Soap Award as Sexiest Female for the series Coronation Street. She won, also on the same year, in the British Soap Award Best Storyline for Coronation Street, an award that she shared with Kate Ford and Bill Ward.
She has also appeared in the British Broadcasting Corporation’s annual telethon Children in Need in 2003.
Samia Ghadie and her property development boyfriend Matthew Smith got engaged on January 1, 2005. Then, they decided to get married on September 10, 2005.
