The British actress and fashion designer Sadie Frost was born on June 19, 1965, in Primrose Hill, London. She grew up in Greater Manchester, and is the eldest of five brothers and four sisters. Her parents, David Vaughn and Mary Davidson, separated three times, and are claimed to have five or six relationships in between them. Sadie Frost’s father was a psychedelic artist and some of his most famous works were for the Beatles. Their song “Sexy Sadie” was named after her. David Vaugh has also been entered into an asylum sometime in the 1960’s due to a bad LSD trip. Sadie Frost was known to have quite an eccentric, bohemian childhood. She has been a vegetarian since birth, and also starred in an ad campaign where she posed naked for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Sadie Frost’s first television appearance was a commercial for Jelly Tots. She soon earned a scholarship to the Italian Conti Academy before she was even a teenager, and then soon after developed an eating disorder and ran away from her parents as she was going through a “punk” and rebellious phase in her life. When she was about 19 she enrolled at the Manchester Exchange Theater, and within the same period of time got married to Gary Kemp, lead of the band Spandau Ballet. Throughout Sadie Frost’s life as an actress, she has had many short stints and has preferred to support independent British films rather than going into Hollywood. Her most notable performance has been for Bram Stoker’s Dracula during 1992.

Sadie Frost has starred with Gary Kemp in two films, namely The Krays and Papierowe Malzenstwo. Although their marriage was just brief, they had produced one son, Finlay Munro, born in 1990. Sadie Frost also appeared in music videos, such as for the songs Common People of Pulp, and Not Yet Over of Planet Perfecto. In 1994, she starred in a movie, Shopping, opposite Jude Law, where she first met the actor. Shortly thereafter Sadie Frost and Jude Law got married, and had three kids named Rafferty Law, Iris Law, and Rudy Indiana Otis Law.

Sadie Frost has also appeared in art films, such as 2000’s Rancid Aluminum, The Final Cut, and Love Honor and Obey. In 2003, she and Jude Law divorced. Sadie Frost is clearly multitalented as she is also very into fashion. She started the clothing brand Frost French with her best friend Jemima French.

Sadie Frost has been a favorite target among British tabloids and the media, partly due to her long time friendship with supermodel Kate Moss which ended when Sadie started dating Peter Doherty, the ex boyfriend of the model.
