Supermodel Rachel Hunter was born on September 9, 1969, in New Zealand. She is a famous supermodel, and ex wife of singer Rod Stewart. Her career in modeling began early, when she was just 17 years old. Rachel Hunter gained popularity right after her first appearance in a magazine during 1989’s edition of Sports Illustrated. Rachel Hunter has appeared in numerous magazines, including Cosmopolitan and Vogue, and has been the image model for prestigious brands such as Estee Lauder, Cover Girl, Pantene, and Revlon. She also has a famous pictorial with Playboy magazine in 2004, where she was paid over a million dollars for the shoot.

Rachel Hunter has also dabbled in acting. Some of her appearances include Two Shades of Blue in 2000, Rock Star and MacArthur Park in 2001, Redemption of the Ghost in 2002, and Benchwarmers in 2006. She also appeared in a 1997 episode of the Drew Carey show, as well as in a celebrity special episode of Lingo. Other television appearances include reality shows Dancing with the Stars, Strictly Come Dancing, The Real Gilligan’s Island. She also hosted Make Me a Supermodel, a British reality show, as well as Style Me with Rachel Hunter in 2006. Rachel Hunter has also appeared as the gorgeous and attractive mother Fountains of Wayne’s video for their single Stacey’s Mom.

Rachel Hunter is also active with charities, and she started the Rachel Hunter Gorilla Fund. The Born Free Foundation also named her an ambassador for their organization. In 2005, Rachel Hunter participated with other celebrities and models such as Naomi Campbell and Wyclef Jean in the Fashion for Relief show, whose proceeds went to the victims of hurricane Katrina by AmeriCares.

Rachel Hunter married Rod Stewart when she was just 21. The couple produced two children, Liam and Renee, during their almost sixteen years together. Rachel Hunter and Rod Stewart filed for divorce in 2005. She is currently dating Jarrett Stoll.
