Nell Mcandrew Biography
To pursue her modeling dream, Nell McAndrew moved to London where the Daily Star discovered her. In no time, she became one of the most photographed girls subsequent to her being a Page Three girl. Her first big break was when she officially became the model for the hot and sexy character of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, a famous video game back then. In that stint, she got herself breast implants so she can resemble the character more. Unfortunately, she did not make it to the Hollywood films since her supposed-to-be big break as the lead role in the much awaited movie for Tomb Raider, was given to Angelina Jolie.
The next big move for Nell McAndrew was as a Playboy Cover girl. After posing nude for the magazine, she was immediately axed from the videogame modeling stint.
Nell McAndrew also co-hosted Its a Knock-out, a British game show aired in 1999. She was also a VJ on VH1's Spice. Not long after, she was also working on advertising gigs with Adidas and Jockey. Her big break and undoubted marketability proved to be very effective not only because she was a hot videogame item, but mainly because she was the first British to get the cover spot of the famous mens magazine.
Though she hasnt made it to Hollywood films yet, her face is as popular as any rising star could get. Nell McAndrew became an entertainment reporter for another British TV show, The Big Breakfast and she also appeared in Im a Celebrity, Get me out of here!
After Playboy, Nell McAndrew also became a cover girl for magazines such as Loaded, Front, FHM, Maxim, Shape and Personal Trainer. She is now married to Paul Hardcastle.
