Natasha Henstridge was born in Newfoundland, Canada, on August 15, 1974. Her mother Helen is a homemaker, and her father Brian is a biker and contractor. She started out as a model, being first runner up in the Look of the Year contest of Casablanca Modeling Agency when she was just thirteen years old. The following year, she received blessings from her parents to go to Paris and pursue a modeling career there. Natasha Henstridge landed her first magazine cover at 15 for the French issue of Cosmopolitan.

Soon after, Natasha Henstridge’s modeling career took off, landing her many more international magazine covers and ad campaigns for Olay, and Old Spice. When she established herself as a model, she moved on to acting and instead pursued a career in that direction. Natasha Henstridge’s first movie was Species, where she played a human who had been genetically engineered and also had extraterrestrial DNA. The movie proved to be a hit, bringing in about $113 million at the box office.

Natasha Henstridge’s next roles were for more action oriented movies, proving her versatility as an actress. These included Maximum Risk where she costarred with Jean-Claude Van Damme, followed by Adrenaline: Fear the Rush, with Christopher Lambert; Standoff, as well as a sequel for Species. Her other movies were not as good as Species, although it provided a good platform for her breakthrough as a model turned actress. Natasha Henstridge also did some small movies, such as Dog Park and Bela Donna.

She also starred in sci-fi movie Ghosts of Mars, Species III, The Whole Nine Yards and its sequel The Whole Ten Yards, A Girl, Three Guys, and a Gun; Kevin of North, Second Skin, Riders, Caracara, It Had to be You, Jason and the Argonauts, and A Better Way to Die. Natasha Henstridge also did some television roles, including She Spies, Commander in Chief, as well as television movies Bounce, Power and Beauty, and Widow on the Hill. Natasha Henstridge also provided the voice of Ms. Ellen in the cartoon series, South Park, and appeared in a few episodes of Saturday Night Live.

Natasha Henstridge married Liam Waite in 1996, and have been married ever since. Natasha Henstridge has definitely made a name for herself not just in the entertainment industry as an actress but as a model and for her beautiful looks as well. In 1997, Femme Fatales magazine named her number 1 of Sci-Fi’s Sexy 50, and Stuff Magazine ranked her number 85 in their 2002 list of the 102 Sexiest Women in the World.
