This hyper, a clown, sensitive, hot and sexy Nadine wanted to become a gymnast when she was 10 years old. At thirteen Nadine Velasquez decided that she wanted to be an actress. She walked into a talent agency in Chicago and had a nice chat with an agent named Myrna. Her mom didn't take to Myrna all that much, maybe she was scared of letting her baby enter a world she had never known, and so her dreams were postponed.
In high school she acted in school plays. Nadine Velasquez`s first play was Twelve Angry Jurors where in she portrayed the angriest of them all. By 18 years old, in her college, she chose Columbia College in Chicago taking Marketing course. Since she needed a part-time job, she went back to that talent agency and landed a job as Myrna's assistant. She got herself a headshot and Myrna started submitting her for jobs. A few months later, she booked her first job for a McDonald's commercial with short dialogue, Welcome to McDonald's. May I take your order?
In October 2001, Nadine Velasquez packed her Honda Civic and drove to Los Angeles. She has worked in both TV and films (IMDB) and have been featured in magazines. She starred in Five Rising Stars to Watch Closely for USA Today and Variety's Ten Actors To Watch 2005. She was also nominated for an Alma Award as best supporting actress for her role on a film MY NAME IS EARL and featured in Entertainment Weekly's Must List.
