Monica Potter first started modeling and doing commercials before she decided to try out acting in Los Angeles in 1994. Her first appearance on the big screen was opposite Nicholas Cage in 1997s Con Air, followed by Without Limits and Patch Adams, both in 1998. Proving her versatility as an actress, she starred in A Cool Dry Place; Martha, Meet Frank, Daniel, and Lawrence; and The Very Thought of You before she scored her first major roles in Head Over Heels and Along Came a Spider. From comedy to thrillers, Monica Potter quickly became an audience favorite.
