The sexy model turned actress Michelle Hicks was born in June 4, 1973 in New Jersey, USA. She is among those who started with a modeling career but fortunately ended up having TV shows and several Hollywood films. At the moment, her popularity has attracted interviews, pictorials and several magazine cover photos under her publicity listings.

An actress eminent in various film genres such as drama, crime, mystery, and action, the sexy Michelle Hicks had her professional acting debut in the independent film, Twin Falls Idaho in 1999. She starred with real-life identical twins Mark and Michael Polish, and took the role of Penny, a witty, and hot young prostitute who captured the hearts of the twins.

Shortly after, Michelle Hicks skipped Hollywood and again starred in two more independent films- Everything Put Together by Marc Forster and Ropewalk by Matt Brown. From then on, she has appeared in several films in Hollywood such as Deadly Little Secrets in 2001, Mulholland Dr. in 2001, Northfork in 2003, Distress in 2003, Messengers in 2004, and What We Do Is Secret this year. Her role in Messengers as the hot yet highly intellectual Dr. Sarah Chapel who wants to unveil the reason behind her father's unexpected death has yielded her an Outstanding Achievement Award at the New York VisionFest.

At the moment, what the fans of Michelle Hicks will look forward to now is the lead role that she will play in the film The Adventures of Beatle Boyin. The movie is on an ongoing production this year. She will work with known Hollywood celebrities such as Sarah Shahi, Orlando Jones and Ever Carradine.

As for her television career, Michelle Hicks reached utmost popularity as Mara Sewell Vendrell, the wife of Detective Shane Vendrell (character of Walton Goggins) in the police television drama series- The Shield. Hicks also played the role of the sexy and sassy lead detective for LAPD’s Robbery Division, Amy Sykes, in the action drama TV series Heist.

Aside from acting, Michelle Hicks is an avid practioner of pilates. In fact, she and her friend Brooke Siler own a pilates gym named re”AB, in New York.
