Aside from Mr. Show, Mary Lynn Rajskub was also seen on television in several shows and series including The Larry Sanders Show, Veronica’s Closet, Shasta McNasty, The Sketch Show, 24 and News Radio. During the time she was at Mr. Show, she was also the girlfriend to David Cross in real life. Which is why when they broke up she left the show after the season two.
For her performance in 24, Mary Lynn Rajskub was praised by critics and loved by viewers, that she became the lead female in its fifth season, second only to the lead role played by Kiefer Sutherland. She is by this time considered one of the hottest stars on television in Hollywood.
In 1999, she played the role of Frank’s assistant, Janet, in the movie Magnolia. That same year, she was also seen in Man on the Moon as Friday’s Mary. The following year, she was seen as Blind Brenda in the movie Road Trip. That same year, Mary Lynn Rajskub was also seen as the cult member, Zelmina, in Dude, Where’s My Car?
In 2001, Mary Lynn Rajskub played the role of Melinda in the movie Storytelling and as Mary Lynn in The Anniversary Party. The following year, she played the role of Elizabeth in the film Punch Drunk Love, and the role of Dorothea in the movie Sweet Home Alabama. Then in 2003, she played the character of Reena Giuliani in the sequel to the smash movie Legally Blonde, Legally Bloned 2: Red, White & Blonde.
In 2004, Mary Lynn Rajskub was seen as Avalyn Friesen in the movie Mysterious Skin. Then in 2006, she played the role of Janet Stone in Firewall, where she was seen opposite actor Harrison Ford. That same year she was also in the critically acclaimed movie Little Miss Sunshine as Pageant Assistant Pam.
In 2007, Mary Lynn Rajskub was in American Fork, playing the role of Peggy Orbison and for 2008, she is set to appear in the movie Sunshine Cleaning.
