Marley Shelton Biography
Marley Sheltons debut as an actress was for a 1991 film, Grand Canyon. She also did a few appearances in television shows, including Family Matters, Angel Falls, Bodies of Evidence, and Camp Wilder. Her following movie was The Sandlot, where she played a lifeguard who caught the hearts of young boys. Marley Shelton started to get acclaim and recognition for her acting when she starred in the biopic Nixon in 1995, where she played the daughter of the former American president. She then started to do many more movies, including the 1997 fantasy movie Warriors of Virtue, Trojan War, Lured Innocence, and Pleasantville. Her roster of films has proven her versatility as an actress.
Marley Shelton then had a series of teenage movies, proving to be a favorite among the young audiences. Her most popular teenage movie was the romantic comedy Never Been Kissed, followed by Sugar and Spice where she plays a cheerleader who becomes pregnant and together with her friends conspires to do a bank robbery in order to support her child. Marley Shelton portrayed a variety of roles in her succeeding films, including Bubble Boy, Just a Kiss, Moving Allan (where she starred with her sister Samantha who is also an actress and which was directed by their father), and opposite Brittany Murphy in Uptown Girls.
Marley Sheltons more recent performances have been for The Last Kiss in 2006, the double feature Grindhouse, Dont Come Knocking, Dallas 362, Grand Theft Parsons, Valentine, On the Borderline, and Between Us, which was also under the direction of her father. Marley Shelton also appeared in the television drama series, The White House, in 2004. She also appears in Sin City, a movie adaptation of the comic book series, where she plays The Customer.
Marley Sheltons beautiful looks have also garnered a place in a 2002 edition of Maxims 102 Sexiest Women in the World. She has been married to movie producer Beau Flynn since 2001.
