One of the most sought after actress in Hollywood, Marisol Nichols gained fame when she portrays Karen Bettancourt in the Stephen Brocho’s cop drama, Blind Justice in 2005. Recently, she played the role Special Agent Nadia Yassir on the Award Winning TV series 24 where she was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress-Television Series, Miniseries or TV Movie in 2007.

Born on November 2, 1973, she was brought up by her Hungarian and Mexican-American parents in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She attended DuPage College in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. At a very young age of 12, Marisol Nichols was exposed to like alcohol and drugs but was able to overcome her addiction at age 17. Since then, the hot young lady worked very hard to establish herself well in the entertainment industry.

On the small screen, Marisol Nichols is credited for her outstanding portrayal of Sonia Quintano in ABC’s innovative new legal drama In Justice (2006). The versatile actress also starred as the sexy troubled teen Victoria Santiago on Showtime’s critically acclaimed series Resurrection Boulevard (2000). Her other TV guest appearances include Alias (2001), CSI: Special Crime Investigation (2000), Nip/Tuck (2003).

The Hollywood star also appeared in three television movies: NBC’s Homeland Security (2004), Showtime’s The Princess and the Barrio Boy (2001), and portrayed Princess Meriam Al-Kalifa, who leave her country for love, in TV movie The Princess and the Marine (2001). Nichols gained her nomination in ALMA Awards for Outstanding Actor/Actress in a Made for Television movie.

Marisol Nichols was also able to land on hot roles in several movies. She starred in 20th Century FOX film Big Momma’s House 2, opposite Martin Laurence. Herr other film credits include Vegas Action where she starred as Aubrey Griswold opposite Chevy Chase (1997), Bowfinger (1999), Disney’s Can’t Hardly Wait (1998) and Scream 2 (1997).

Marisol Nichols is a member of Church of Scientology when she was introduced to it by her chiropractor. Today, she is a member of international non-profit organization Criminon, which is also connected to the Church of Scientology that provides rehabilitation for people in prison. She is a NFL football fan and her favorite team is her hometown Chicago bears. Today, Nichols currently resides in Los Angeles California.

Sexy Marisol Nichols has signed on to star in Felon that will be produced by Sony and Screen Gems Ent. She will be working with Val Kilmer and Stephen Dorf in this movie that will be done in New Mexico. Nichols is also featured in September 2007 issue of VIBE magazine.
