During her early years she had already shown an interest for the arts. When Majandra Delfino was 10 years old, she performed The Nutcracker with the Miami Ballet, and performed with the community theater. When she was 11, she joined an all girl singing group called China Doll, which she stayed with for a while. She was in the group along with best friend Samantha Gibb, who is the daughter of Maurice Gibb from the Bee Gees. The group enjoyed some success after they had opened for a Bee Gees benefit concert in Miami, but Majandra Delfino left the group after a few years.
Majandra Delfino then tried her hand in acting. Her first professional acting gig was for television on the Tony Danza Show in 1997, where she played the daughter of Tony Danza. Her next television show was in 1999 for the show Katie Joplin, although the show did not last very long. Majandra Delfino was a regular role in Roswell, a science fiction television drama, beginning in 1999 until 2002. She was nominated a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Drama Series in the Leading Young Actress category for her performance on Roswell. She was also cast in the 1999 feature, The Learning Curve, and The Secret Life of Girls, in the same year.
Majandra Delfino made a guest appearance in Traffic, and also starred in the spoof horror flick, Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth. In 2001, she released her first album, called The Sicks. Prior to that, she released three songs on the internet: Tattoo, Sirens, and Bruises. Her 2007 album, called Tarte, was released through the internet. She also has a song in which she sings in both French and English, called Le Prince Bleu D'Arthelius. The song is also a duet with French singer RoBERT.
Majandra Delfinos more recent film appearances include Dont Come Knocking in 2005, and Fluorescent in 2006. She is marrying actor Devon Gummersall this year.
