In 1974, Loni Anderson starred with Farrah Fawcett on the television detective series, Harry O. Othe television appearances include Blondie and Dagwood, Too Good to be True, Nurses, Without Warning, and more recently, The Mullets. Loni Anderson made her first movie appearance in 1983s Stroker Ace, which starred Burt Reynolds.
Loni Anderson is known for being a voluptuous blond actress, but she is a natural brunette. When she was younger, she won several beauty contests, including Miss Roseville in 1963. She also became a finalist for Miss Minnessota, and also participated and won minor titles. Some of these include Miss Thermo-Jac clothing, Miss Country Style Ford, Queen of the Hole in One, Miss Thom McCann Shoes, and Miss No-Frost Eskimo. Loni Anderson was born big-bosomed, but had to have breast reduction surgery during 1995.
Loni Anderson starred in remakes for television movies, including A Letter to Three Wives; Sorry, Wrong Number; Three Coins in the Fountain, and Leave Her to Heaven. She has also portrayed Jayne Mansfield and Thelma Todd, fellow film stars, for their biopics. In 1984, reappeared on the small screen with Lynda Carter for Partners in Crime. Loni Anderson also had cameo appearances throughout the nineties and 2000, such as for Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, and V.I.P. Although she auditioned for the show Threes Company in 1977, she didnt get the part.
In 1998, Loni Anderson married actor Burt Reynolds. Together, they adopted a son, named Quinton, in the same year they married. She has daughter from a previous marriage, named Dierdre Hoffman. Other film appearances include Vigilante Force in 1976, The Lonely Guy in 1984, 3 Ninjas: High Moon at Mountain Range, and A Night At the Roxbury in 1998.
