Kim Smith Biography
Kim Smith was raised in Texas and graduated from Texas Permian High School. She got break as a professional model when she went to watch the Model Search of America. Accompanying her friend, she was seen by the head of the search and was entered into the contest. Soon she worked under Clipse Management and was featured in several ad campaigns. Kim Smith was then seen in several fashion ads, including Victorias Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch and others. She was also featured in several magazines including Harpers Bazaar.
Kim Smith had her big break in modeling when she was chosen by Paul Marciano to be the ad model for the Guess? 2000 campaign. This made her a star, not just in the fashion world but also in Hollywood.
Soon, Kim Smith was offered to act on several music videos. She was seen in the music videos of the hit Bye Bye By and the hit Its Gonna Be Me by the boy band NSYNC. She was also seen in the music video of Maroons song Wake Up Call. Then she also featured in the music video Girls of Summer by Aerosmith.
In 2002, she first appeared film in Van Wilder, playing the role of a Casey, a comely coed. Then in 2004, she returned to the big screen in the movie Catwoman, playing the role of Drina, a model. In this movie, she appeared with Academy Award winner Halley Berry.
The following year, she was featured in Maxim Magazine for its July issue. In the magazines issue, dedicated to troops serving outside the country, she appeared wearing military gears. Maxim ranked her #91 in its Hot 100 for the year 2006. Kim Smith is also set to star in a documentary series about modeling at the same time, she continues her modeling works and was seen in the T. Bourne Ritkins Fashion show in 2007.
At present, Kim Smith is reportedly dating The All American Rejects band leader, Tyson Ritter.
