Keri Russell was born on the 23rd of March 1976 on Fountain Valley, California. Her parents are car executive David Russell and housewife Stephanie Stephens. Keri is a Golden Globe Award winning actress and has appeared in several films for television in the 90s. She is known for her role in Felicity. Since her father was care executive the family moved several times, Keri and her two other siblings grew up in Dallas, Texas, in Mesa, Arizona and in Denver, Colorado.

Keri’s first television appearance was on the New Mickey Mouse Club on the Disney Channel. She was on the variety show for three years, starting on 1991 up to 1993. She was on the New Mickey Mouse Club with other then future celebrities such as Christina Aguilera, JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.

Then in 1992, she appeared in the hit comedy film Honey I Blew Up the Kid. She appeared with actor Rick Moranis. This was then followed by many movies for television appearances. Then in 1996 she made The Babysitter’s Seduction and she was given a role in the soap opera Malibu Shores. Prior to that, in 1994 she landed a role in the video of Always by Jon Bon Jovi. That same year she was also seen in the sitcom Married with Children where she appeared with Jack Noseworthy. This was followed by a role as Mr. Feeny’s niece in the hit sitcom Boy Meets World.

In 1998, she landed the lead role in the WB Network’s hit series Felicity. She appeared with her long curly hair which became one of the trademarks of the character and the good luck charm of the show. The drop in the ratings during its second season was blamed for her change of hairstyle. This resulted in WB Network’s executives ordering every cast to seek approval from the network for any change in hairstyle. Keri stayed with the show until its final season in 2002. For her role in Felicity, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1999. While with Felicity, Keri appeared in Eight Days a Week, in The Curve and in Mad About Mambo. In 2002, she appeared with Mel Gibson in the movie We Were Soldiers. The film was released months before the last episode of Felicity.

After Felicity, she appeared on an off-Broadway production of Fat Pig in 2004. Then in 2005 she appeared in The Magic of Ordinary Days, The Upside of Anger and in the miniseries Into the West.
