Kelly Packard was born in Glendale, California, on January 29, 1975. She and her family later moved to Canyon Country in California where she grew up. She has three brothers, two are younger and one is older, although the two younger ones are step brothers. Kelly Packard started doing commercials at the age of eight, so she is no stranger to television. In 1988, she won the Miss California pre-teen contest.

When Kelly Packard was still a teenager, she had guest appearances in television shows such as Step By Step, Boy Meets World, and The Wonder Years. She also had recurring roles for Baywatch where she stayed for two seasons as April, the fashion inclined lifeguard; Ripley’s Believe it or Not where she was a correspondent, and California Dreams where she starred as Tiffani Smith. It actually took Kelly Packard many roles in Baywatch as different characters, until she was finally cast as a regular. During her time as a correspondent for Ripley’s Believe it or Not, she was able to host the many, almost unbelievable acts in the show in various places such as the Hollywood Boulevard intersection, Las Vegas strip, and stadiums throughout the country. Her role in Baywatch lasted from 1997 to 1999. Kelly Packard’s first movie appearance was for a small role in the 1991 movie, And You Thought Your Parents Were Weird.

Kelly Packard also did hosting jobs, such as for the Travel Channel where she hosted Secret Beaches, and for Entertainment Television. She is also seen in a video arcade game, called Kelly Packard’s Golden Cue. Her more recent film appearances include Mind Wars and Get Your Stuff. Kelly Packard has also helped promote TaeBo, the special fitness exercise invented by Billy Blanks. She appeared in infomercials for TaeBo on 2004 and 2007. More recent appearances include Mind Was, and Get Your Stuff, an independent movie. Kelly Packard’s work has also gotten some recognition, earning her two consecutive Young Artist Award nominations in 1993 and 1994 along with the cast of California Dreams in the category of Outstanding Youth Ensemble in a Cable or Off Primetime Series.

Kelly Packard married Darrin Privett in 1997. They have one daughter, Aubrey Lin Privett, born on April 6, 2004, weighing 8 pounds and 13 ounces. Kelly Packard also has a love for animals, as she is involved with the Amanda Foundation which helps out abused and stray animals. It was this cause which made her join Fear Factor. She also has a tattoo of her mother’s initials on her ankle.
