Kellie Martin then had other roles in television and the movies, making her one of Hollywood’s budding star by the early 90s. She is most famous for her role in the drama series Life Goes, playing the role of Rebecca Thatcher. She played the role of “Becca” from 1989 to 1993. She is also made star by the role in the hit series ER, playing the character of Lucy Knight, one of the med students, from 1998 to 2000.
Her first major role was in 1994 in the drama series Christy. She played opposite Tyne Daly in this series based on the novel by Catherine Marshall. The following year, she was seen in the movie made for television The Face on the Milk Carton. The movie was about a teenager who learned that she was taken from her real family 12 years ago. It was from the book of author Caroline Cooney.
Then in 1997, Kellie Martin landed a role in the series Crisis Center. The following year, she then landed the role of Lucy Knight in the hit series ER. She left ER after the death of her sister since it reminded her of her sister’s death. In 2003 she starred in Mystery Woman, playing the role of a bookshop owner/mystery buster. Because of the good response from the viewers, Hallmark asked her to reprise her role ten more times in 2005.
In 2006, Kellie Martin she was seen in the movie Live Once, Die Twice and in the movie A Friend to Die For. Today she is considered as one of the reliable actresses in Hollywood and is seldom compared and confused with star Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Kellie Martin graduated in 2001 from the prestigious Yale University with art history degree. She is now married to Keith Christian and has a child with him.
