She attended Desert Christian High School where she is a regular in the theatre play. At the age of eight, she played the lead role of Kim in Bye Bye Birdie in a high school musical theater. She left school in 2003 to pursue an acting career in Hollywood.
Miss Defer's first work on the television was with Nickelodeon in 2004 in the series called Drake & Josh. This young, sexy actress' career progressed fast. In the same year, she got another role on the show called North Shore, Quintuplets, and The Mountain.
