Katey Sagals hot passion for singing started when she was only 5 years old. This compelled her to pursue studies at California Institute for the Arts in 1971 where she took up acting and singing In 1973, she toured with Shakepeares musical production Two Gentlemen of Varona.
When she returned to Hollywood, being a full bloomed sexy woman then, she worked in The Great American Food and Beverage Company. It was then when she and her four co-workers formed the band The Group with No Name led the band to an introduction with music executive Neil Bogart. In 1976, their first and only album Moon Over Brooklyn was released by Casablanca records.
Although they disbanded after sometime, Katey Sagal continued with her singing career and did a back up for Kiss bassist Gene Simmons on his first, self-titled solo album in 1978. Aside from that, she also did some back up singing for famed celebrities such as Bob Dylan, Tanya Tucker, Etta James, Olivia Newton-John and rocker Molly Hatchet.
In 1975, television viewers gave her a hot acceptance when she debuted in the TV-movie The Dream Makers (NBC), which was produced and directed by her father, Boris Sagal. She has done numerous projects on TV which includes a recurring TV role in Boston Legal as Barbara Little. The sitcom Married with Children marked her popularity in 1987 when she played the role of Peg Bundy. Her acting debut on films came with Maid to Order in 1987.
While being busy with both films and TV commitment, she also released Room, her second CD in June 2004. It is a collection of pop originals and classics. Sexy Katey Sagal married thrice. She had 3 children from her previous marriage and one child from her present marriage with Kurt Sutter.
