Kaleys career in acting started in 1992 when she appeared in the movie for television Quicksand: No Escape. Then she played the role of Maureen Mc Cormick in 1999s Growing Up Brady. She gained more popularity in the sitcom by CBS, the Ladies Man. In 2004, she appeared in 8 Simple Rules as the daughter of John Ritter. Then she has a starring role in 10.5 the NBC miniseries. She also appeared in Crimes of Fashion, an original movie by ABC. This was followed by the independent movie Debating Robert Lee. In the 8th season of the hit series Charmed, she played Billie Jenkins, a witch in search for her lost sister. She stayed with the show until its final season. Her character Billie Jenkins was initially set as a possible spin off of the hit series Charmed. Unfortunately this plan did not come into fruition. In 2004, she starred in the film The Hollow opposite young stars Nick Carter and Kevin Zegers. Then she was Punkd by Ashton Kutcher in its 3rd episode on its 3rd season.
Recently she appeared in the film To be Fat Like Me by Lifetime. The film premiered last January 8, 2007. She also had other television appearances including a role in Prison Breaks episode The Message and the episode Chicago. She also appeared in The Big Bang Theory.
In 2004, Kaley was named as one of FHMs one of 100 Sexiest Women of 2004. She ranked #47 on the list. Also that same year, she leant her voice in the Disney Channels animation Brandy and Mr. Whiskers. She was the voice of Brandy Harrington. Her successful voicing stint leads to another voicing. She became the voice of Elena in the Kids WB animation show Monster Allergy.
Before focusing on her career in acting, Kaley was a ranking amateur tennis player.
