Porcelain skinned Hollywood icon Josie Bissett is also credited as Josie Huetmaker. She was born on October 5, 1970 in Seattle Washington and was raised in the suburb of Federal Way. She is a model turned actress whose claim to fame is as Jane Andrews Mancini in FOX TV Series Melrose Place (from 1992 to 1999). Her blonde pixie hairstyle became very noticeable and very much copied not just in Hollywood but in different parts of the globe.

The beautiful and sexy Josie Bissett came from a humble beginning in show business. This humble beginning led into a big career in Hollywood after years of toiling. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School at the age of 17, she moved to Los Angeles with the hope of acquiring a career in modeling and acting. She found modeling gigs for US and Japan which eventually brought her to a number of commercial works.

Inevitably, her modeling career turned to acting when she made her TV acting debut in the year 1990 with an appearance on the then hot Doogie Howser, M.D., an ABC TV soap which was aired from 1989 to 1993. She made her acting debut on films with a role in the movie Book of Love. After these projects came her way, she was cast in The Hogan Family with a recurring role from 1986 to 1991 as Cara.

Josie Bissett was seen on numerous commercials, TV soaps, guest appearances and films. Some of those projects include forgettable stints but certainly, there are also a number of hot gigs that have been memorable to the public. Aside from Melrose Place, among her other hits are Beverly Hills, 90210 (in a spin-off role), The Sky on Fire, Baby Monitor: Sound of Fear and Quantum Leap. She also played a lead role in the feature thriller film Mikey in 1992.

Josie Bissett married Hollywood actor Rob Estes in 1992 and they had two children namely Mason Tru (son) and Maya Estes (daughter). The two of them met in a casting call somewhere in 1991.

Josie Bissett was named as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in 1996. Being noticeably sexy, she has been offered to pose for Playboy’s centerfold which she accepted in 1991.
