Jordana Brewster Biography
Jordana Brewster was born the 26th of April in 1980. Her birthplace is the beautiful city of Panama. Her father Alden is an investment banker, while her mother Maria Joao is a former hot Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model. Her family has lived in London, England for six years. Then, they have moved to Rio de Janiero where they stayed for 4 years. That stay has caused her to become fluent in Portuguese.
Jordana Brewsters start in the show business was traced back when she was seen dancing regularly with other children in Xuxa Against Evil, a popular childrens show in Brazil. After 4 years of living in Rio De Janiero, the family transferred to New York where Jordana participated actively in theater performances while studying at Sacred Heart. With her desire to take acting seriously, she enrolled at the New York Professional Children's School to hone her skills in acting.
While still at school, she made her first American TV debut on the soap All My Children. Then she moved to a higher profile role as Nikki Munson-Graves in As the World Turns. She was with the soap for three years. An offer came to her for a role in the highly successful movie Independence Day which she declined because it will affect her soaps schedule.
In 1998, Jordana Brewster soared with a role in The Faculty. She also appeared in the remake of the video Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd. Aside from these stints, she was also signed for several Tommy Hilfiger ads.
The busy and sexy Jordana Brewster still has projects and films to do on the lineup. She has managed to work with Julia Stiles in the NBC miniseries, The '60s. In 2001, she starred alongside Hollywood huge actress Cameron Diaz in the independent film The Fast and the Furious.
Presently, Jordana Brewster is attending Yale, where her grandfather used to be the universitys president. In spite of her very promising career in Hollywood, this talented lady still values her studies.
