Joely Fisher is the daughter of Eddie Fisher and Connie Stevens. She would perform overseas during the Persian Gulf War with her mother and Hollywood legend Bob Hope. This sexy comedienne made her film debut in Pretty Smart alongside her sister Tricia Leigh. During the '90s, she appeared in small parts on TV and films before landing her breakthrough role in The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
When the show ended, the hot and attractive actress starred in several short-lived TV sitcoms and made for TV films. She also starred on Broadway in one of the revivals of the classical Cabaret. After sometime, she was able to go back to the network in primetime when she was signed to play a recurring role on Desperate Housewives. In the soap 'Til Death, she played the role of a miserably married woman. This role is the total opposite of her real life because she is so happy with her relationship with cinematographer husband Christopher Duddy.
Joely Fisher was nominated for the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television in the 1998 Golden Globe Award. This only proved that she was indeed a talented actress. Aside from this, she is also a talented singer. She has showcased her vocal talent numerous times on her show Wild Card. Currently, she has two songs available on iTunes entitled Welcome to Holiday Inn and Don't Ever Leave Me. She has done so many other works and was truly hot in the show business.
Now, with her glamorous life in Hollywood, who would have thought that the sexy and famous Joely Fisher is a product of an emotional and problematic childhood? Her father was an alcoholic and drug addict while her mother was a sexpot who has been in numerous relationships. Now, there is nothing she can ever ask for.
