Her career as an actress began in 1964. She was only 12 then when she played as Sus in the movie East of Sudan. This movie was quickly followed by another project entitled Ballerina, which was released in 1965. In 1966, she did the film A Man Could Get Killed.
Jenny Agutter appeared on numerous films and TV shows in the early stage of her career. Among her credits are Gates to Paradise and Long After Summer (1967); Star! (1968); I Start Counting (1969); The Great Inimitable Mr Dickens and The Wild Duck (1970).
What appeared as the big break of Jenny Agutter on films as a child actress was playing as Boobie in 1970. This made her a commodity which sells hot in the industry. In 1971, she got the chance to make films in Hollywood which include The Cherry Orchard; Walkabout in 1971 and The Snow Goose. Her role in the latter received an Emmy Award.
In 1972, she starred in A War of Children and Shelley. In 1976, she had another big break when she played as Jessica in the Science fiction flick Logan’s Run. That same Year she also starred alongside Richard Chamberlain in the TV production of the classic The Man in the Iron Mask. She also starred alongside Michael Caine and Donald Sutherland in The Eagle Has Landed.
The decades of the 80s and the 90s has never placed an end to the mass appeal of the sexy and talented Jenny Agutter. She continued to soar as a movie and film personality. She played together other biggies such as Sean Pertwee, Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, Catherine Zeta Jones and Jemma Redgrave.
Jenny Agutter married hotelier Johan Tham in the late 80s. Their union produced one son in 1990 whom they named Jonathan. This charming and sexy actress loves acting very much but aside from it, she also loves doing charity works for The Diabetic Association and NCH Action for Children. She has been involved in these charity institutions for five years.
