After auditioning for dance roles, Jennifer Lopez finally won a slot as a dancer for the 1990 Yo! MTV Raps episode. She also appeared as a backup dancer for the American Music Awards, New Kids on the Block and a dancer on the TV comedy In Living Color. The sexy dancer also became a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, appearing in the 1993 video, Thats the way Love Goes.
Jennifer Lopez also achieved success in both TV shows and feature films. She appeared in the 1995 drama My Family, action movie Money Train, 1996 comedy flick Jack and the 1997 suspense film Blood and Wine. Jennifer Lopez won the lead role for the film Selena in 1997, which led to a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress. JLo is currently married to longtime friend Marc Anthony on June 5, 2004. The couple announced on November 8, 2007 that they are expecting their first child.
