When Jennifer Garner realized she enjoyed acting, she switched her chemistry major to drama. After graduating in 1994, the young and sexy Jennifer Garner continued her professional acting education at the National Theater Institute. While attending the institute, Jennifer was trained by David Chandler, an expert in fight choreography, and was told that she had natural talent in stage combat.
In 1995, Jennifer Garner moved to New York to seek acting experience. Working as an understudy in a play, she earned $150/week before earning her first TV role in the made-for-TV Zoya. She was then given small roles in Significant Others and Time of Your Life. Jennifer received a recurring role in the series, Felicity, but gained popularity when she appeared in Pearl Harbor and comedy flick, Dude Wheres My Car?
In 2001, Jennifer Garner received her big break when ABC offered her with a lead role in the spy drama Alias. The series became an overnight success, which led to multiple awards from different bodies including 4 consecutive Golden Globe nominations, four consecutive Emmy nominations and an Actor Award from the Screen Actors Guild. The series concluded in May 2006, after the fifth season due to Garners pregnancy.
Aside from her successful TV series, the hot Jennifer Garner also appeared in the big screen with a cameo role in the Steven Spielberg film Catch me if You Can, leading role in the fantasy movies Elektra and Daredevil and a romantic comedy in 13 Going on 30. Her most recent movie is the 2007 romantic comedy Catch and Release.
Jennifer Garner was married to actor Scott Foley on October 19, 2000, but the couple officially divorced on March 2004. After dating Alias co-star Michael Vartan from 2003 to 2004, she became romantically involved with Daredevil costar Ben Affleck. On June 29, 2005, the couple got married in a surprise ceremony on the Turks and Caicos Islands. Jennifer Garner gave birth to their daughter Violet Anne Affleck on December 1, 2005.
