Jennifer Espositos aspiration to become a Hollywood actress brought her to the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, where she studied. While studying, she would also play small parts in small projects but her earnings here were not enough. Therefore, in order to make both ends meet, she took a job as a waitress.
In the year 1995, her long wait for a big break came when she landed a part in the ABC soap, The City. Her appearance in the said show caught the attention of Spin Citys casting agents, who were then looking for a hot Italian American to play the role Michael J. Foxs assistant. She worked in the sitcom for two years. However because she found it unfulfilling, she left the show in 1999 and tried to pursue appearances in feature films.
Once again, waiting did not take her long. After appearing on films like Kiss Me Guido and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, Spike Lee signed her in 1999 for his film, Summer of Sam. Although the film has not been successful commercially, her performance has been marked by her audience and she was considered as an important actress.
Jennifer Esposito has been consistent since then. She landed roles in films such as Just One Time, Dracula 2000, Don't Say a Word, and 2002's The Master of Disguise. She has also been linked to various men, including Dean Winters and Cameron Mathison; however, she has decided to stay single till date. With her guts and glamour, it is not difficult for her to appear hot and sexy on the small and big screen. Showing the pattern of a hard worker who gained success after toiling, she is now well loved and admired by the people throughout Hollywood.
