Jennie Garth attended Greenway High School, but dropped out during her junior year when she and her mother moved to LA to pursue her acting career. She later completed her high school in California and started attending professional acting classes, while going to auditions daily.
After living in Los Angeles and attending multiply auditions for four months, Jennie Garth landed the role of Erica McCray on the NBC TV series, A Brand New Life in 1989. She also appeared in one episode of Growing Pains and appeared in other television shows such as Teen Angel and Just Perfect.
However, it was in her role as the hot and sexy Kelly Taylor on the popular TV series, Beverly Hills 90210 that made Jennie Garth a household name. During her stay in the show, Garth’s character has become the love interest of both Brandon Walsh (Jason Priestly) and Dylan McKay (Luke Perry). Kelly Taylor has also been trapped in a fire, abused diet pills, used cocaine, was involved in a cult, was raped, shot, lost her memory and had a miscarriage. Jennie Garth successfully played the stressed Taylor from 1990 to 2000.
While her stay at Beverly Hills, Jennie Garth also appeared in other TV series, such as Teen Angel Returns, Danielle Steel’s Star, Lies of the Heart: The Story of Laurie Kellogg, Without Consent, Falling For You, Loss of Innocence and An Unfinished Affair. In 2002, Jennie Garth regained her popularity when she starred in the sitcom, What I Like About You, alongside Amanda Bynes. The show lasted until 2006.
Jennie Garth has been ranked as #41 in WH1’s Top 100 Greatest Teen Stars and FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women for 2000 (as #59) and 2001 (as #93). She recently joined “Dancing with the stars” as a contestant.
Jennie Garth is a natural blonde that stands 5.5 ft is a vegetarian. She married musician Daniel Clark on April 16, 1994 but divorced on November 1996. On January 2001, the sexy Jenny Garth married actor Peter Facinelli and had three daughters together, Luca Bella (born June 1997), Lola Ray (born December 2002) and Fiona Eve (born September 2006).
