Jenna Fischer started acting when she was only 5 in a workshop where her mother was teaching. Sean Gun was with her in this workshop and hey had been great friends. After becoming a grown up, she married his brother James Gun in 2000. James is a Screenwriter and a director.
After graduating from college, she has worked in some administrative jobs while popping up with appearances on the small screen and in independent films such as The Specials, which was written by her husband, James Gunn. With the support coming from his husband as a producer and actor, she made her directorial debut with the 2004 mockumentary LolliLove. However, her breakthrough came the following year, when she landed an important role in The Office. She then continued to soar high and her career in Hollywood turned hot.
Jenna Fischer once worked as a telephone psychic but after two days, she quit the job and didn't even bother to get her paycheck. She has worked as a secretary in real life and as a receptionist. Her typing speed is superb at 85 words per minute. Aside from being a showbiz personality, she was also active in a movement that cares for animals. This organization is called Kitten Rescue.
Jenna Fischer loves to write blogs very much. In fact, she maintains her own blog on the addicting site of MySpace. She uses her character Pam Beesly for her blogs.
Being a great actress, Jenna Fischer has been nominated in the 2007 Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Though she did not win the recognition, she was happy enough that her endeavors are showing. Her team up with her husband proved to be a great tandem as they can achieve success in working together.
