From the beautiful and peaceful place of Lake Tahoe, she moved to Las Vegas and was never happy about her stay there. Everything frustrated her but she was however relieved when her mother came to accompany her in the land. While in Los Angeles, Jena Malone did various commercials and music videos. However, her feature debut was at the Cannes Film Festival in Showtime's Bastard Out of Carolina. Then, she went on to play major roles in films such as Contact, Step Mom and For the Love of the Game. When her name became hot, she was signed for other big projects which include both TV and film appearances.
In spite of being very young, she had many accomplishments in the industry. The roles which she usually portrays are being a troubled teen whose family is disfunctioning. These portrayals earned her much fame and recognition in Hollywood.
