Jeanette Biedermann Biography
After winning the competition, Jeanette Biedermann then released her first single, the Das Tut Unheimlich Weh, which was sung entirely in German. In 2000, she landed a role in the hit soap Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten, for which she played the role of Marie Belzer.
With the success her appearance on television, Jeanette Biedermann then released another single, Go Back, that same year. The single, Go Back reached the top of the German Charts and this made her album, Enjoy a certified Gold record. The following year, she won the Female Artist National by the ECHO. It was no surprise that her second album, Delicious also became a certified Gold record.
In 2002, Jeanette Biedermann released her third album entitled, Rocky My Life. The album reached the # 7 spot in the German charts and was again a certified Gold. Its single, Rock My Life reached the #3 spot in the charts. The other singles from the album, such as Right Now and Its Over Now, also reached the Top 10 German charts. After the release of Rock My Life album, she then went on a tour for the Rock My Life concert.
In 2003, Jeanette Biedermann released another album, her fourth, entitled Break On Through. The albums single Rockin On Heavens Floor became her most successful record as it reached the #3 spot in the German charts. The album became a certified platinum record and by 2004, she went on her biggest tour ever, the Break On Through Tour.
In 2006, Jeanette Biedermann released the album Naked Truth, which included several contributions from guitarist Jorg Weissenberg, her boyfriend. Though she went on a promotional live tour, entitled Bad Girls Club tour, for the album, it would be her least successful album ever. Naked Truth reached the # 14 of the German charts but did not say long at the charts and soon fell out of the Top 50 of the German charts.
Jeanette Biedermann is set to release another album which her fans hope would be better than her last one.
