Jane Danson made her debut on TV when she was eleven years old and that was when she appeared in the Alan Bleasdale series GBH. While acting in the said show, she was also being trained in theater arts at Oldham Theatre Workshop. When she left the school in 1995 with 9 GCSE’s, offers started to pour on her. She was then asked to appear on various TV shows and a few number of films.

Jane Danson is married to -Brookside and Emmerdale actor Robert Beck, with whom she had a son named Harry Alexander Jack, who was born in 2006.
