Jamie Luner grew up in the company of her mother and brother David before landing a role in Just the Ten of Us as sexy but dizzy Cindy Lubbock. She got this role when she was still in high school. While still busy with Just the Ten of Us, she won the LA Shakespeare Festival under the category of monologues. She was 15 at that time. When the show Just the Ten of Us was cancelled in 1991, she attended culinary school and became a chef in a French Restaurant named Drai’s.
In 1993, Jamie Luner made a comeback on TV with the show Moment of Truth: Why My Daughter? This was followed by playing small parts in shows like Married with Children and Diagnosis Murder. Her first big break came when she played as the hot and sexy Peyton Richards in Savannah.
After the show was cancelled, she and her boyfriend John Braz, who is an independent film maker, traveled all over America via Airstream motor home before she got the role Lexi in Melrose place. This show became hot in all Hollywood and the US. Her relationship with John Braz ended too when the show ended in 1999. Then, she was cast in Profiler as Rachel Burke. Her role here as a psychic made fans write her fun letters asking them to help them with their personal problems by using her powers.
Offers for TV shows and films poured in for Jamie Luner and she played the lead roles in Lifetime's, Blind Injustice, Stranger in My Bed, The Suspect and The Perfect Marriage. Aside from being active on TV and films, she was also active on theaters. She has appeared in Black & Bluestein, Other Space, Santa Monica and The Young Playwrites Festival in Los Angeles.
