Jakki Degg Biography
As a child, Jakki already had talent, aside from her natural blonde beauty. At the age of 14, she was already having ballet and dancing lessons. Her talent in dancing would be fruitful years after when she would win several dancing competitions in England.
However, despite being a very talented dancer, Jakki Degg decided to train in hairdressing after high school instead of continuing her dancing lessons and eventually making a career out of it. Nevertheless, her hairdressing training was worth it since, at the age of 20, she started managing her own salon located in West Midlands.
Jakki Degg was then contented and happy with her salon but with her mothers encouragement, she joined the 1999 Max Power Babe Competition. She then won the competition, beating hundred other entrants.
After winning the Max Powel magazine competition, she then gained further popularity when she became The Suns Page 3 girl. Jakki Degg also posed semi-nude and topless in several adult male magazines, such as the Front, GQ, Maxim, OK, Fast Cars, Loaded, Esquire, Boys Toys and FHM.
Aside from modeling, Jakki Degg also appeared in several television shows and series. She was in talk show, Big Breakfast and also in So Graham Norton. Then she was seen in the drama show Is Harry on the Boat? She also won The Weakest Link Special on BBC 1, the models special. As for crossing over to American films, Jakki Degg landed a role in the movie, EuroTrip. In this film, she was seen opposite Matt Damon, Michael Trachtenberg and Lucy Lawless.
Many speculated that her hiatus in posing nude and topless would be forever but in August of 2006, Jakki Degg was once again seen on The Suns page 3. Her last appearance on The Sun was four years ago. That same year, Jakki Degg, in an interview with Lads magazine admitted that she would pose for US Playboy for two conditions: one, that she would be the cover, and two, if they will pay her right.
While busy with modeling and in appearing on television and films, Jakki Degg enrolled herself in a university to earn a degree in abnormal and criminal psychology. She is also busy being a fashion designer and has her own lingerie line, Bootee.
