Jacinta Stapleton Biography
Jacinta Stapleton was first seen on TV as Becky in the show Becca which was directed by Paul Turner. She was only 10 years old when she did this project and it marked the beginning of her hot career as a respected TV celebrity. Her career in films started that same year when she appeared in the Australian flick Boulevard of Broken Dreams.
Various projects for television followed after these appearances which made her rest from the big screen for seven years. She mainly focused on TV appearances where in her role as the sexy Amy Greenwood in the Australian long running TV soap opera Neighbours became her most memorable portrayal as far as her audience is concerned. She appeared in this show from 1997 to 2000 and made a comeback in 2005 when it celebrated its 20th anniversary.
Jacinta Stapleton played the role of Christina Dichiera in the famed TV drama, Stingers. She appeared in the show from 2002 to 2004. She also played a recurring role in the TV medical drama MDA as Nurse Chloe Davis. In 1996, she was seen in the last two episodes of Blue Heelers as Tilda Dean.
Her other Hollywood TV credits include appearances in serials like The Lost World in 2000 (episode: Amazons), Beast Master in 2002 (episode: Sisters), and Last Man Standing in 2005 (episodes: 13, 15 and 16).
She also starred in the mini series Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King in 2006. Aside from this, she appeared in several episodes of All Saints from 2006 to 2007. However, she is not very much active in films but this does not disappoint her because she gained sufficient success in her TV career.
