Izabella Miko is one of those children who began to dance before they could walk. This is why at the age of ten; she started to take up ballet lessons. Although she did not have a great start in ballet school, Izabellas thought of becoming a professional ballet dancer someday persevered. Training has been tough for her as her trainers saw some limitations on her bodys flexibility. However, this did not make Izabello Miko stop from realizing her dream. She has to train harder and longer compared to the other dancers which eventually, earned her success.
This sexy Hollywood actress became well versed in her craft and became accomplished in ballet. She did even receive a full scholarship to study in the School of American Ballet in Warsaw when she was 15 years old; something that she considered then as a great honor for youngsters like her. Apparently, her body gave up on the seven days a week rigid training when she acquired injuries on her vertebrae, knee and ankle. In the blink of the eye, her ballet career ended, to her disappointment.
At the age of 17, she was thinking about her future and wondering about what kind of career she can pursue. It was then that a family friend, who is a casting director, approached her parents and asked then if she can play a part in the TV movie Lithuania You're My Motherland. Because she has nowhere else to turn to, she accepted the offer. When she acted in front of the camera for the first time, she immediately felt the hot passion for her newly found path.
Because of her desire to improve her acting skills, she immediately enlisted herself at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. When she turned 18, she moved to Los Angeles and after a series of magical events, she landed roles in films such as Jerry Bruckheimer's Coyote Ugly (2000), where she played as the heartbreaker Cammie.
That role placed Izabella Miko on the fast track in Hollywood. She began to grace the covers of magazine and billboards until she finally had the chance to star in J.S. Cardone's The Forsaken in 2001, where she played the lead role. Other films she made include Minimal Knowledge (2002) and The Shore (2003). Her role in the 2004 release Bye Bye Black Bird as a circus trapeze artist has combined her innate talents as an actress and as a dancer.
