She aspired to be a model at a very young age. When she was 12 years old, she went with a friend to audition for a fast-food commercial. She was lucky enough to be chosen and her appearance in the said commercial stirred up the interest of the respected Carlos Saura, who chose her to play in El Dorado with Lambert Wilson in 1987.
In the year 1989, Ines Sastre won the famous Look of the Year title in the Elite Supermodel Contest. However, she begged off in signing the contract with the agency because she has decided to continue her studies. After three years, she moved to Paris and studied in La Sorbonne University.
Then, busy times came to the hot and sexy Ines Sastre as she undertook a training period at Unesco, studied French literature, done films which include Beyond the Cloud, and shot a lot of commercials which include Vivelle, Rodier, Max Factor, Chaumet etc. She also did a lot of defiles and some of them are for Chanel, Michel Klein, Genny, Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs, Corinne Cobson, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Fendi, Paco Rabanne and Sonia Rykiel.
Ines Sastre’s biggest gig came in 1996 when Lancôme signed her for a three contract and did the advertisement for Trésor, the famous perfume that succeeded Isabella Rossellini. She has also received a lot of proposals to do films but among those, she has only accepted Il testimone dello sposo in 1997 which was directed by Pupi Avati. She was seen in this romantic movie wearing costumes such as a wedding gown because the story revolves in the beginning of the century. While doing the movie, she admitted that she really loves to play in costume films.
Ines Sastre continues to be active in the industry of modeling and acting. She also ventured into TV and events hosting. She was able to work with biggies such as Christopher Lambert. Above all of these things, Ines Sastre was very thankful to her friend Alexandro Corrias, who married her in the Brompton Oratory Church of Chelsea.
