Holly Valance was born Holly Rachel Vukadinovic on the 11th of May 1983 in Melbourne, Australia. As a child, she attended the Star of the Sea College, one of the prestigious Catholic high schools in Melbourne.

Holly appeared on the Australian soap opera Neighbors from 1999 to 2002. Then in 2002, Holly released her first single, Kiss, Kiss, which debuted at the top pf the Australian ARIA chart and the UK Singles Chart. The single, was an interpretation of Turkish singer, Tarkan’s Simarik. In the video of the song, Holly appeared to be naked although she was wearing flesh toned panties and the rest was lighting enhanced. Kiss, Kiss won Holly 4 nominations from the ARIA.

That same year, Holly released her second single entitled, Boy Down. The song reached the # 2 of the UK charts and the # 3 of the Australian charts. The same year in October, she released her first album entitled, Footprints. The album reached the # 9 of the UK charts and the #15 of the Australian charts. Naughty Girl, the final single from the album went to hit the # 3 of the Australian charts and the # 16 of the UK charts. That same year, she was GQ’s Woman of the Year.

The following year, 2003, she released the single, State of Mind which reached the #14 of the Australian charts and the # 8 of the UK charts. The single was from her second album, which unfortunately did not make it to the top 50 charts in both UK and Australia. The second single from the album, Desire, was cancelled and later on she was let go by her recording company.

Aside from singing, Holly Valance was also the model of Schwarzkopf Live, for which she was paid £3 million. She was also the model of Cosmic Blue, Hypnotic Red, Sahara True Blue, XXL hats and XXL dresses.

In 2004, she returned to acting, but this time in Hollywood. She was seen in the hit television series CSI: Miami and in the series, Entourage. Then in 2005, she was seen in CSI: NY; and in 2006, in Prison Break. Her role in Prison Break, which was slated to be for an episode, was extended to the second season of the show.

Holly Valance was also seen in Pledge This! and in DOA: Dead of Alive. She is set to appear in the movie Taken, opposite Liam Neeson and in the movie The Tourist.
