Heather Graham Biography
Heather Graham pursued her studies in University of California at Los Angeles, where she met James Woods. Her first role was in the movie Diggstown, where Woods starred. Heather Graham dropped school, moved to Hollywood and focused on her acting career. She landed in small roles in movies, such as the 1989 Drugstore Cowboy, Scream 2 and TV series Twin Peaks. Although her parents initially supported her dreams of becoming an actor, they were concerned about nudity. When Heather Graham appeared in her debut film, Boogie Nights, where she had several nude scenes, she became estranged from her devout Catholic parents.
Heather Grahams role in Boogie Nights led her to the leading role in the 1999 comedy flick, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, playing Felicity Shagwell. She also starred in the 2001 film based on the Jack the Ripper story, From Hell and the 2002 comedy independent film, The Guru, which has given her critical praise.
Heather Graham is set to appear on the 2008 films, Have Dreams, Will Travel, Buy Borrow Steal and Adrift in Manhattan.
Aside from Hollywood feature films, Heather Graham also appeared in several TV series, including in the HBO series, Sex and the City, where she played a role as herself in one episode and in the NBC series, Scrubs, where she was given a recurring role during its fourth season. The sexy Heather was also given a small role in Arrested Development, where she played a hot teacher.
She has lent her voice for the character Antonia Bayle, which can be heard in the online game, EverQuest 2. Heather Graham is the spokesperson for Garnier, having TV advertisements for Garnier hair care products. She also appeared in a print ad for Skyy Vodka.
