Grace Park was born Jee Un Park on the 14th of March 1974 in Los Angeles, California. She is most famous for her role as Sharon Valerri in Battlestar Galactica and in her role as Shannon Ng in the teen series Edgemont.

When Grace Park was just a baby, her parents decided to leave California and moved to Vancouver. In Vancouver, her parents settled the family in a Korean community. In 1992, Grace graduated from the Magee Secondary and then went to attend the University of British Columbia. She then earned her degree in psychology from the prestigious school.

The role which made Grace Park famous was in Battlestar Galactica, as Sharon ‘Boomer’ Valerri, a Cylon agent. Prior to that, she was also a successful model in Canada. But her career as a model was cut when she decided to become an actress.

Grace Park landed a role in CBS’ Edgemont as Sharon Ng. Because of her appearance in Edgemont, she eventually landed roles in the movies. She was also seen in the films, L.A. Law: The Movie and Romeo Must Die. However, she continued to appear in television and was given guest starring roles in several television series such as, Stargate-SG1, Dark Angel, The Outer Limits and The Immortal.

In 2007, Grace Park again reprised her role in Battlestar Galactica: Razor. In Battlestar Galactica, Grace Park appeared from 2004 to 2007. She was in 53 episodes including, Crossroads: Part 1& 2, The Son Also Rises, Maelstrom, Dirty Hands and others.

From 2001 to 2006, Grace Park played Sharon Ng in Edgemont, where she appeared in 50 of its episodes. In 2004, she was seen in Stephen King’s The Dead zone and in the Machinery of the Mind episode of Andromeda. From 2003 to 2004, she had a recurring role in Jake 2.0, in the episodes Get Foley, Upgrade, Middleman and Last Man Standing. That same year, she appeared in Jinnah – On Crime: White Knight, Black Widow and in the movie Fluffy.

In 2001, Grace Park appeared in James Cameron’s Dark Angel and in The New Outer Limits. From 2000 to 2001, she was in The Immortal’s 5 episodes.

In 2006, Maxim’s Online gave Grace Park the 93rd ranking in its list of Hottest. In 2007, she was seen in the film West 32nd. She also lent her voice in the video game by EA, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberian Wars. Grace Park is married to Kim Phil, a real estate developer and they live in Vancouver.
