Gabrielle Richens is often referred to as “The Pleasure Machine” after a commercial she did which appeared all over the world. In 2002 she was the #41 in FHM UK’s 100 Sexiest Woman in the World. Then in 2003, she landed the 69th ranking; and in 2004, the 71st ranking.
Under Elite Modeling Agency, Gabrielle Richens was seen in several ads for several fashion houses. She also appeared with Janet Jackson in a Pepsi commercial and was in the 1998 Heineken Calendar.
Soon Gabrielle Richens became famous in Australia due to her highly publicized love affair with Solomon Haumno, the rugby league player. According to the stories, she went to Australia for a shoot and met Haoumono in a nightclub in Sydney. Soon after, he left for the UK, without giving notice to his club and family, just to be with her. This almost cost Haumono his contract with the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Gabrielle Richens and Haumno separated not long after but as for Gabrielle the affair lead to her appearance in Australia’s Ralph magazine and in posing nude for Australia’s Black+White Magazine and in Australian Playboy in 1999. She was also on the spreads of The Star, CLEO Magazine, New Idea, Ray Martin and Inside Sport Magazine.
In 2001, Gabrielle Richens returned to the UK to be the co-presenter of the television show, The Desert Forges. She presented the show alongside Richard Fairbanks. She also presented 3001: A Sex Oddity the following year. She stayed in Australia for two years before heading back to the United Kingdom in 1998.
Aside from presenting, she was seen in Australia’s Dancing with the Stars, and again in Australia’s Celebrity Survivor.
Gabrielle Richens was also the co-host of the short-lived dating show in Australia, Love Rules. She was also seen as a guest star in CSI Time of Your Death episode.
At present, Gabrielle Richens is an active supporter of the British Heart Foundation. She is also busy training for acting and is set to appear in 2008 in Goal 3. She was seen in Hack in 2007 as Sylvia. The year before that, she was seen in Single Stamina episode of How I Met Your Mother, as Tramp Stamp Girl.
