Gabrielle Anwar is most famous for her roles in the movies Three Musketeers and Body Snatchers. She also danced tango in the now classic dance scene in Scent of a Woman. Prior to these memorable roles, Gabrielle was also seen in the television series Press Gang. For this year, she was in the television series Burn Notice where she played the character of Fiona Glenanne. She stars opposite actor Jeffrey Donovan.
Gabrielle Anwars first acting debut was in the miniseries Hideaway. She first appeared on the big screen in the film Manifesto. This was followed by another television appearance in the First Born. Several television appearances followed her remarkable performance, including Summers Lease, The Mysteries of the Dark Jungle and Press Gang.
While Gabrielle Anwar was doing films and television in the United Kingdom, she met actor Craig Sheffer. They had a romantic relationship and she moved to Hollywood to be with him and to try launching her career there. In Hollywood she appeared in several movies with Craig. This included the films The Grave, Flying Virus, In Pursuit of Honor, Water Under the Bridge, Save it For Later, Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal and Long Lost Son.
If Looks Could Kill Teen Agent was her first movie appearance in Hollywood. Gabrielle Anwar was next seen in the highly acclaimed film Wild Hearts Cant Be Broken. This was followed by Scent of A Woman in 1992. The role was minor but her dance scene with Al Pacino made her one of the most recognizable faces in the 90s. In 1993 she was one of People Magazines 50 Most Beautiful People in the World. She followed this with a role in the Body Snatchers. Then she landed the role for For Love or Money and The Three Musketeers.
Gabrielle Anwar was also seen in the television series John Doe. She also played Princess Margaret in The Tudors.
Gabrielle Anwar has a daughter with Craig Sheffer, named Willow. She was once married to actor John Vera with whom she had a son and a daughter.
